Here it is!

Here it is! After a long week in Utah, I rolled my suitcase into our room, gasped, and burst into tears. My darling husband of nine years made me this bed. Yes, he made it! Isn't it wonderful? I had no idea he was doing this. It was the best surprise ever!!!!! All week long he told me he was helping our friend build a shed. I had no reason not to believe him. I guess it is okay to lie when gifts are involved. HA!
Here we are on our anniversary. We always take a picture like this before our date. What a wonderful nine years it has been. I love this man more each day. I love how everyday he makes me smile and laugh. I love how he knows me sometimes better than I know myself. I love what a great daddy he is. I love how he loves me. He is my friend, husband, and love! I LOVE YOU ROCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One Week

I took my kids, and my nephew to Utah for one week. We went to a birthday party, took a trip to Logan, Dinosaur Museum, Farm country, Children's Garden, Adventure water slide, fed ducks, saw the movie Up, parks, Zoo, Trax, Temple Sqaure, Tree house museum, and then one crazy ride home. What normally takes 5 hours, took ten. We had a tire blow out. I must say it is not as scary as I always thought it would be. The kids were great. Two cars pulled over to help me, while four cars so kindly whistled as the flew by. My darling husband was not home when we finally rolled into the driveway. He was returning from an archery outing. He did surprise me with an early anniversary present. You will have to wait for the next post.

Quote of the Day

So we were driving home from Walmart today and the song "Lady in Red" came on. I turned it up, and by the end, we were all singing the chorus. When it ended I asked the kids if they liked it, and both replied that they did. Then, my son said, "Ya Mom, it's like you and Dad. Lady and Red."

And so it is. Our 9th Anniversary is tomorrow. What a great description of it. Lady and Red.....
