Daddy too!

I haven't posted in a while. Not because I don't want to, I have just been busy. My camera also holds so many pictures that we just keep taking them. Anyhow, Father's Day is quickly approaching. So, to honor my favorite men... I thought I would write my food memories that I have of them. Honey, I love you! You are a great daddy! Our kids look up to you, and I love to see you with them.

Grandpa Rowe: Grapefruit and apples with salt
Grandpa Brownie: pumpkin pie with TONS of whipped cream
Dad: oatmeal, oatmeal cookies, black licorice
Frank: banana bread, turkey
Rocky: Mac and cheese, empanadas, elk, slushies/icees...
Rhet: red licorice
Reese: season salt
Jake: hash browns
Lance: mangos

More often than not Rocky will smile, or tease me about how much I enjoy food. It's true! It is one of my joys in life. I love food! I love to eat! I love to cook and bake! I love to be served good food! I have many fond memories, and many of them have to do with food. I have several specific food memories. Most of my food memories have to do with my favorite people also. For example, whenever I make or eat broccoli salad, I think of my mother. So, in honor of my wonderful mom, and several wonderful moms out there; I thought I would share my memories of you and food.

Birthmother's Day

Many of you who are outside the adoption world may not know this, but today is Birthmother's Day! The Saturday before every Mother's Day is Birthmother's Day. This is a day we celebrate birhtmother's. This is the day we celebrate Jessica!!! Jess, we love you! We are so grateful for you. You have blessed us beyond compare. Thank you for picking us, and placing this sweet baby in our family.
