Here she is. My Pinkie. This was her first day of school. She is so excited to finally be going. When we pulled up to school, she said she wanted to walk up by herself, then as she saw all the kids, she asked if I would walk her up. With a big hug, and a wave good bye she was off. As I drove away for the school, the tears started falling. I can't believe my baby is in school. She has been by my side since she was born. When did she grow up???? She is loving it, and does not stop telling me what she has been learning. She was student of the week last week. I love you Pinkie! Keep up the great work!

Here is my bud. This was his first day of school this year. When we pulled up to the school he said, "Uh, Mom? Will you walk me in?" Of course my heart leaped with joy, but I agreed. So we walked him to his class, he went right in without a hug or a goodbye. I guess as a mother I will take what I can get. Needless to say there is always a big hug when he returns from school. I can't believe how quickly my boy is growing. He is so smart, and so kind. Oh Bud, I love you! I am very proud of you!

As summer was winding down, Grandma came up for a visit. Grandpa came a couple days later. We celebrated our home's 2 year anniversary. This is a record for us. 2 years in the same house! Love it! No plans of moving. We went to a baseball game. We took Grandma to the water park. (She even got her hair wet!) It was so fun. Grandpa drove his bike up, and we hit restaurants, and Cabelas. We miss our grandparents like crazy, but we sure love the special trips, and memories we make when they come.
